For Europe, the simulations are performed on a rotated grid with the pole at 162°W longitude and 39.25°N latitude.The domain covers approximately the region from about 22°W to 45°E longitude and 27°N to 72°N latitude.
In EURO-CORDEX some many projections were have been performed on the high resolution 0.11° (approx. 12 km) grid. Many more were have been performed at 0.44° (approx. 50 km) to enable a large ensemble of climate projections. An overview of the simulations in EURO-CORDEX is given available here.
In order to increase the reproducibility of the simulation results and to avoid misinterpretation of the results, the COSMO-CLM model grid for the CORDEX-EU domain is given in the following table together with the definition of the recommended external parameter data file .
