CORDEX-CORE

Wiki   See also the CORDEX-CORE 🔑 page in RedC for further information.

Within the CORDEX   the the Coordinated Output for Regional Evaluations (CORE) activity was initiated to provide a core set of comprehensive and homogeneous projections across almost all CORDEX domains, see here: https://www.cordex. org/experiment-guidelines/cordex-core/   The CLM-Community has per today finished simulations following the CORE - protocol for the following domains:

Simulation framework

Simulation status

...

...

  • ERA-Interim simulation for each domain from 1979-2015
  • minimum simulation period 1970-2100 (target 1950)

...

  • HadGEM, NORESM and MPI-ESM

...

  • RCP8.5 and RCP2.6

...

  • reduced list of variables (subset of the standard CORDEX output)
  • in addition:100 m wind on a voluntary basis
  • pressure levels at higher frequencies of different variables
