AEROSOL

The Cordex Flagship Pilot Study (FPS) Aerosol focuses on the representation of aerosols in regional climate models (RCMs). Both, RCMs with- and without interactive aerosol can participate. The main focus of the FPS is the role of the aerosol on the climate in the Mediterranean in the past and the future and the uncertainty in the description of the aerosol processes in different models.
